I have got good news and bad news regarding the slip way:
It will remain closed this weekend (I'm not happy either) however it is looking really good! (Some photos soon on the website).
The good news is that the council and the yacht club have agreed we use their slip way for this weekend 5th/7th , on the condition that we launch from there and then ride over to our slip way.
Access to the Yacht Club slip way is exclusively on foot, so the best thing to do is to drive to Penarth, ring or go and meet the Pier master (phone number on the sign on our gate) and he will take you down the slip.
