The Bay is such a beautiful place to be, especially when it is in all its glory and the sun is shining, the combination of freshwater, easy access and good facilities make it an ideal place to teach new Skiers and Boarders and also a favourite spot for the more experienced and dedicated. we were out on Boxing Day and on the 3rd of January this year we were Skiing and Boarding in Zero degrees water temperature and minus 2 degrees air temperature, we had ice forming on the boat from the spray and also on our bindings, serious!! I’m not kidding, honestly we were!!.

Come on out and try the Bay for yourself, we usually launch form the Channel view facility, our Ski Zone and pontoon is adjacent to the Temporary Ice rink next to the new leisure pool.

We have permission to use the bay on Friday from 13:00 till 20:00, Saturday from 08:00 till 12:00 and soon we will be approved for Monday evenings, this is all dependant on water condition which is monitored by the Cardiff Bay Authority and not forgetting this is for members only, although new faces are always welcome to come and join in to get a taste of what our club can offer.
